Privacy Policy

This policy applies to our marketing site and the MedSpa Scale application. It covers visitors, prospects, and account holders. It does not change any separate agreement you may have with us.

Information you give us — your business name and location when you run a scan, and your name, email and password if you create an account.

Public business data we gather — to build your reports we collect publicly available information about your business and competitors, such as Google Business Profile listings, websites, search rankings, reviews and public ad libraries.

Usage data — device, browser and interaction data collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).

MedSpa Scale is built to analyse the visibility of your business — not your patients. We do not collect, request, store or process protected health information (PHI) or any patient records. Everything we analyse is public business data about your online presence.

Because we never handle PHI, we are not a “covered entity” or “business associate” under HIPAA. We design the product to stay that way — please don't upload patient information to MedSpa Scale.

We use information to generate your visibility reports and recommendations, operate and improve the product, provide support, process payments, send service and (with your consent) marketing communications, and keep the service secure.

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement. This includes Google Analytics (site traffic and usage), and the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and Conversions API, which help us understand how visitors arrive from our ads and how the product performs. These tools may set cookies and share limited usage or event data with Google and Meta.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and manage ad personalisation through your Meta account settings. Where required, we ask for consent before loading non-essential trackers.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

If you have opted in to receive text messages from us, we use your phone number and consent record solely to send you the messages you signed up for. Consent is specific to us, is not transferable, and is never a condition of purchasing anything. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP (or email nick@medspascale.com) for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run MedSpa Scale (such as hosting, analytics, email and payment processors), with data partners that supply the public business data described above, and when required by law or to protect our rights. For clarity and without exception: the mobile phone numbers and text-messaging opt-in data described in Section 6 are excluded from any sharing with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then for a reasonable period to meet legal, accounting and security obligations. You can request deletion at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. To exercise any of these, email nick@medspascale.com and we'll respond as required by applicable law.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe.

MedSpa Scale is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
